Tankless Water Heater Service in Fort Worth

Tankless install, descaling, repair, and replacement. We size it right the first time and keep it running for the next 20 years.

About This Service

Tankless water heaters are great when they're sized and maintained correctly — and frustrating when they're not. We install new tankless units, service existing ones, descale heat exchangers, troubleshoot error codes, and replace units that have reached end of life. Most tankless issues we see in Fort Worth come down to two things: scale buildup from hard water and improperly sized units from the original install.

What We Do

Tankless Water Heaters — what's included.

New tankless installation

Sizing based on simultaneous fixture demand, gas line sizing, venting (concentric or two-pipe PVC), condensate drainage, and recirculation if needed.

Descaling and routine maintenance

Hard Tarrant County water leaves scale inside the heat exchanger. Annual descaling keeps the unit efficient and prevents premature failure.

Error code diagnosis

11, 12, 79, P1, LC — every brand has its own codes. We read them, diagnose the actual issue, and quote the repair.

Ignition and gas valve repair

Common issue on units 5+ years old — won't fire reliably, intermittent operation.

Flow sensor & flame rod replacement

Standard wear parts. Affordable to replace when caught early.

Venting and exhaust troubleshooting

Improper venting causes shutdowns and short cycling. We verify pitch, length, and termination clearances.

Recirculation pump installs

Add a dedicated recirculation loop or a built-in pump so you don't wait for hot water at distant fixtures.

Full tankless replacement

When repair doesn't pencil out, we replace with a properly-sized unit from Rinnai, Navien, Noritz, or similar.

Why Paloma

What sets us apart on this service.

Sizing first, install second

Most tankless headaches start with a unit sized to a marketing brochure instead of the actual house. We measure GPM demand and BTU requirement before recommending a model.

Hard-water focus

Fort Worth water is hard. We treat descaling like brake-pad maintenance — it's required, not optional. We'll set up a schedule.

Honest tank-vs-tankless guidance

Tankless isn't right for every home. If your gas line can't support it or your usage doesn't justify the upfront cost, we'll tell you.

FAQ

Tankless Water Heaters questions.

Is tankless worth it for my home?
Depends on household size, water usage patterns, gas supply, and how long you plan to stay. Multi-bath households with simultaneous hot water demand benefit most. Smaller homes with modest usage often do fine with a tank. We do the math during the bid.
How often should I descale my tankless?
Annually in Tarrant County's hard water. We can do it during a routine service visit. Skipping descaling cuts the unit's lifespan dramatically.
Why does my tankless keep showing an error code?
Most common causes: scale buildup (descale fixes it), failing flame rod or ignition (repair), venting obstruction, or a gas supply issue. We read the code, diagnose, and quote the actual fix.
Can my existing gas line support a tankless?
Maybe — depends on pipe size and distance from the meter. Tankless units typically need ¾" or 1" gas line; many older homes have ½" runs that won't deliver the BTUs needed. We measure before quoting.
How long do tankless water heaters last?
Properly maintained, 18–22 years on average in DFW. Without annual descaling, 8–12 years. Anode rods aren't a factor (no tank), but the heat exchanger is — and scale is its enemy.
