Services
Slow drains, backups, gurgles, smells. We snake, jet, or camera — whatever it actually takes to clear the line and tell you why it backed up.
About This Service
Drain cleaning is one of our most common service calls — and one where customers get the most overcharged elsewhere. We use the right tool for the job: a manual auger or motorized snake for typical clogs, a camera inspection if we need to see what's actually going on, and hydro jetting when grease, scale, or root intrusion calls for it. We don't push you to higher-cost methods if a basic snake will do.
What We Do
Grease and food debris are the usual suspects. We snake the trap and drain, then talk to you about what likely caused it.
Hair, soap scum, and the occasional missing earring. Quick, low-cost fixes when caught early.
If a closet auger doesn't clear it, the obstruction is deeper in the line — we trace it back.
Whole-house backup, sewage coming up through floor drains or tubs. We snake the main line from a cleanout and run a camera if there's reason to.
Mounted camera with footage so you can see exactly what's in your pipes. We mark the surface location of breaks or obstructions when we find them.
When snaking doesn't do it (or won't last), hydro jetting blasts the line clean. Best for restaurants, recurring backups, and root-intruded sewer mains.
If you're calling someone every few months for the same drain, something's wrong. We figure out the underlying cause — venting, slope, root intrusion, broken pipe — instead of just clearing it again.
Why Paloma
If a snake clears it, we snake it. We don't escalate to hydro jet just to charge more — but we will recommend it when it's the right call.
When you have a recurring main-line clog, we run a camera so you can see what's actually wrong instead of paying for the same snake job twice a year.
Drano and Liquid-Plumr eat your pipes, especially older cast iron and PVC connections. We've cleared plenty of clogs caused by chemical drain cleaner damage. We'll never recommend them.
