Appliance Plumbing Install in Fort Worth — Dishwashers, Ice Makers, Washer Hookups

New appliance? We make the plumbing connection — shutoffs, lines, water filters — so you don't have a leak on day two.

About This Service

You bought a new dishwasher, fridge, or washing machine. The store offered to "install" it — but "install" usually means slide-it-into-place. The actual plumbing connections (shutoff valves, supply lines, drain hoses, ice maker water lines) are often where leaks start. We do the plumbing portion of appliance installs cleanly: proper shutoffs, leak-tested connections, water filter installs for fridges and ice makers, and verification that everything's tight before you start the dishwasher cycle.

What We Do

Appliance Plumbing Install — what's included.

Dishwasher install / replacement plumbing

Supply line connection, drain hose to disposal or air gap, shutoff valve, verify no leaks.

Refrigerator water line & ice maker

Add a water supply line if not already present, install shutoff, run line through cabinet, connect to fridge.

Washing machine hookup

Hot and cold supply line connections, drain standpipe, hammer arrestors to quiet the system.

Garbage disposal plumbing (when paired with sink install)

Connect to dishwasher drain, secure disposal mount, leak test.

Water filter install (under-sink, fridge, whole-house)

Carbon block filters, reverse osmosis systems, whole-house filters at the main supply.

Pot filler installation

Wall-mount pot filler near the stove — supply line through wall, cold-only valve.

Tankless reverse osmosis & UV systems

More involved kitchen water purification systems.

Outdoor appliance hookups (ice makers, beverage centers)

Outdoor kitchens often need water and drain lines run to appliances.

Why Paloma

What sets us apart on this service.

Real shutoffs at every connection

Every appliance connection gets an accessible shutoff valve. If something fails, you can isolate it without shutting down the whole house.

Leak-tested before we leave

We run the appliance through a cycle (or simulate it) and verify connections before we pack up.

Water filter advice that's not a sales pitch

If your water doesn't actually need filtering, we'll tell you. If it does, we'll recommend a system that fits your usage.

We come out, diagnose the actual problem, and give you a clear written bid before any work starts. If you accept the bid, the $99 fee goes away. If you don't, it covers our trip — no obligation, no high-pressure pitch.

Past 40 miles from our Fort Worth shop, the diagnostic fee is $120 (same "waived if booked" policy).

FAQ

Appliance Plumbing Install questions.

Does the appliance store install include the plumbing?
Usually no — most retailer "installs" are appliance placement and electrical connection. Water connections are typically excluded or are an extra charge for a third-party contractor. Worth checking before you buy.
Why do I need a shutoff at each appliance?
When (not if) an appliance fails — supply line burst, drain hose detached, ice maker line cracked — a working shutoff isolates the problem. Without one, you're shutting off the entire house's water and probably calling a plumber emergency-style. Shutoffs are cheap insurance.
Can you run a new water line for an ice maker?
Yes — most kitchens just need a supply line from under the sink or the nearest cold water pipe, with a shutoff. We can route it through cabinets discreetly.
How much does an appliance install cost?
Most appliance hookups: 1–2 hours of labor plus minor parts. We charge our $99 diagnostic which covers the visit, then the install itself is quoted on-site. Many appliance hookups are simple enough that the visit + install fits in one trip.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Texas RMP-16431, held by master plumber Brent Jones with 41+ years of trade experience.
